Yes. Every table is isolated to your account with row-level database policies, integration tokens are encrypted at rest, and the password vault is encrypted on your device before anything is sent. We can't read your vault. The nightly digest reads your finances at category level only; Orbit can look up transactions when you ask about spending, and never sees account numbers, balances, or the vault.

Axis installs as a web app and the shell loads offline. Edits you make without a connection are queued and synced when you're back online, and you can see the queue and retry from Settings.

Google Calendar, read-only. Your events appear next to your tasks, routines and bill dates. Axis doesn't write back to Google, so nothing you do in Axis can change your Google events.

Yes, through Plaid. You log in to your bank in Plaid's flow; Axis gets a token to sync transactions, balances and investment holdings, and never sees your bank credentials. You can also add accounts manually.

Yes — that's agent access. Paste one address into Claude's or ChatGPT's connectors (or any assistant that supports MCP), sign in on an Axis screen, and choose exactly what it may see and do. It can then manage tasks, calendar, routines, goals, notes and workouts on your behalf. Every action is logged in your settings, anything it deletes goes to Trash, and one tap revokes the whole connection.

No agent can ever move money or edit financial data — the write permission doesn't exist at the database level, so it can't be granted by any bug or any request. You can optionally allow read-only visibility (balances and transactions) for a money-aware assistant. The password vault can't be granted at all.
